Respect Music Radio and Promotions was born in 2007 originally as a 2-hour specialized show. The show was produced as a means of offering the public a diversity of music inspired by funk, soul, jazz & latin rhythms covering genres like House, Nu Jazz, Broken Beat, Hip Hop, Drum and Bass and more.
The show still carries on to this day being broadcast on a number of airwaves each week, with the Respect Music Radio team seeking out the worlds funkiest beats to open your minds and massage your ears.
Respect Music Radio has great relationships with some of the world's leading DJs and Producers, and has featured DJ mixes or Live sets from them over time and continues to do so to this day. We also count down Respect Music's weekly top 10 chart 'Respect This Music'.
In 2009 Respect Music Radio was voted the number one specialty show by the listeners of Gold Coast station Radio Metro 105.7 FM.
