SIMMER aka Andrea Tenille is a Singer, Songwriter, Rapper, DJ & aspiring music producer based on the Gold Coast, QLD Australia. Born with music in her bones, instilled from a young age with soul, traditional island beats, and dance, SIMMER is inspired by Rare Grooves. Her musical style is described as a fusion of flavours from Neo-Soul, Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, Funk, Breaks, Afro-beat, Disco, and House dosed with modern soul flare.
As an open format DJ & performer she has performed regularly at The Star & Treasury Casino, 5-star hotels & local hot spots across South East Queensland to Northern NSW & even overseas in her birth country of Fiji. Over the years, her talent & sheer persistence has led to her inevitable rise in the local music scene, establishing a strong presence and accomplishing many notable professional milestones as an artist, managing director, and co-owner of Respect Music.
Andrea's passion & solace lies in the music industry but loves all things creative arts and in recent years she has delved into the world of acting, modeling, and even film directing as part of her SAE Creative Industries Graduate Certificate. Lately, she is focused on her original music project, honing in on her musical style, writing songs on the regular, and making moves to release her debut single as an original music artist 'SIMMER'.
