Wahl

Wahl is a Melbourne based DJ and artist, playing a wide selection of music including funk, disco, boogie, rare- groove, house, afro and other deeply rooted soul music. Being a veteran of the Melbourne scene of over 20 years, Wahl enjoys playing in a variety of settings from smaller intimate bars, curating dining experiences to larger clubs. Wahl has supported international artists including Maseo (De La Soul), John Morales, Karizma, Recloose, Hot Toddy (Crazy P) and Ashley Beedle. Wahl has produced with Latest Craze, co-producing Razzajazz & Crazy Scats and remixing the legendary NYC Peech Boys’ Stay With Me. Wahl also co-hosted Latest Craze Radio on Melbourne’s Kiss FM for 9 years. Relocating to Dubai in 2010, Wahl was resident at Calabar, playing with a number of touring internationals artists.

Since coming back to Melbourne, Wahl co-hosted Bionic Boogie parties and is co-creator of new event, Jam Hot that has been gaining momentum and moving dance floors across Melbourne. Having played in Bali, Auckland and Sydney, Wahl is keen to spread the message of music and love is the message.
